Position: Director of Praise Team and Technology

Jeffersontown United Methodist, 10219 Taylorsville Road Louisville, Ky 40299 is seeking a new hire for this position.

This is a part-time position with a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week expected.

Weekly practice(s) and Sunday service attendance is required.

Candidate may be requested to serve for interim period (with pay) before a final hiring decision is made. Interim period will be ~ one month.

Candidate must be proficient in playing and instructing piano and keyboard.

Salary starts at $16 per hour.

The Director will work with the Praise Team, the Pastor and the Worship Committee to provide music to enhance regular worship services and other seasonal services as needed.

This position is also responsible for maintaining the Church sanctuary sound and video systems. This includes recording and editing audio and video for posting on social media.

Candidate must have a strong instrumental and vocal music background and be able to teach, lead, and accompany the Praise Team as needed.
