Assistant General Manager

If you're passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and want a different kitchen experience than the typical fast food or casual restaurants out there, then come see us! Clean Eatz Jeffersontown is seeking an Assistant General Manager to add to our amazing team! NO EARLY MORNINGS OR LATE NIGHTS, AND NO FRYERS! This is a full-time position which receives a salary plus bonus opportunity. We are a meal prep company with a healthy café located at 9545 Taylorsville Road, next to King Pin Lanes.

Our ideal candidate has previous kitchen management experience with strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and is a proven leader. ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is required, but can be obtained within 30 days of employment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• HIRE, LEAD, TRAIN and DEVELOP all BOH and FOH employees; holding them accountable for their performance by providing effective counsel and motivation on job related matters
• Operate in a profitable manner by attaining goals, controlling expenses, operating within budget, and working to maintain low levels of employee turnover
• Order inventory and supplies, check shipments for accuracy, and process invoices for payment
• Supervise preparation, cooking, and serving of food with utmost concern for food quality
• Oversee store safety and implement proper sanitation practices
• Maintain open and honest communication with all staff members, upper management and vendors
• Focus on providing each customer with excellent product and service 100% of the time

Café hours are 11:00am – 7:00pm weekdays, and 11:00am – 3:00pm weekends. Shifts for the team tend to run 9:00am - 8:00pm weekdays, and 9:00am - 4:00pm weekends. Our expectation is an Assistant General Manager will work approximately 45 hours/week.
